The Ministers, Children & Youth Pastors, and Elders of Witham United Reformed Church condemn all forms of racism and will not tolerate any form of racist behaviour or language. Covid-19 service update

31st October 2020: Under Government regulations, there will be no in person worship from 2nd November to 2nd December.

Tuesday Praise will NOT restart on 3rd November.

Please note that due to the coronavirus all other events, are cancelled until further notice.

You can continue to view and listen to services on the Services page, or via the Facebook.

The church buildings are otherwise currently closed to everyone, and the telephone is now monitored.

Advent Study Groups

We are excited to be running a 4 week advent study themed 'Finding light in dark places' which Mark has compiled for us. This will be running in all our House Groups including the Wednesday evening zoom Bible Study group. We would like to encourage you all to engage with this study so please join in with your house group, join the Wednesday evening zoom group or contact Sarah Biyi, Mark or Lorna for further group information.

Toy Service

This year we continue to support the Angel Tree Project who give presents to the children of prisoners. We can not give toys like we usually do but financial donations only. Donations can be dropped off at Ian Hardie's house or contact him and he will arrange collection. Please place your gift in an envelope marked 'Angel Tree Project' or 'Toy Service'. Donations can also be made by bank transfer to WURC.

UK Day of Prayer

We are joining a national day of prayer on Friday 13th November, so please pray with us. Here are some options to mix and match: -Use the suggested prayer topics to pray at some time every hour during the day. Topics will appear on Facebook each hour and are in the attached document: UK Day of Prayer Friday 13th November -Go for a prayer walk in your area, with someone from your household or max of one from another. -Pop into the church for private prayer any time between 10 am and 3 pm.
